“LBCity” global Intranet
The “LBCity” Global intranet was used by Leo Burnett advertising agency and its clients as a way to communicate the daily events within Leo Burnett across all of its offices around the world as well as to provide an on-line workspace for collaboration and knowledge sharing. I assisted in development and design of new features including:
- participated in initial requirements gathering sessions
- assisted in initial implementation using the ASP.NET 1.0 framework
- complete code conversion from ASP.NET 1.0 to 1.1 framework
- implementing Akamai service to improve file download performance
- maintaining application server environments
- implementing various features as requested (ad-hoc workspaces for employees, etc)
- wrote various desktop based tools in C# to help with various portal maintenance tasks
- assisted in the conversion of this portal to the BEA AquaLogic framework
