Big news from the TownHog front. We have recently joined forces with CBS and are now working on launching local deal sites for each of CBS' affiliate cities starting with New York City. Take a look at http://newyork.cbslocal.com and http://offers.cbslocal.com. This combined with our existing affiliation with SFGate via SFGate Daily Deals makes for exciting times. 2010_08_03
Dan Grigsby has recently decided to abandon iPhone development and consequently run Mobile Orchard. What this means is that my weekly "This Week in iPhone and iPad News" column will now be hosted and updated on my blog at http://blog.aribraginsky.com. 2010_04_09
GDC 2010 is just about over. The dedicated iPhone summit was great and I was able to attend a few of the other summit sessions as well (social gaming, indie games, etc.). The IGF and developer's choice awards were great and I met a few familiar faces and quite a few new ones as well. Picked up an AI book from MK publishing (IGDA discount!) and got lots of swag. Feeling very inspired and am looking forward to next year. Here are some pictures and video clips and the new issue of "This Week in iPhone News" will be posted up shortly on Mobile Orchard.. 2010_03_13
This week's announcement of the iPad device by Apple generated so many news articles that a special version of "This Week in iPhone News" has been created just for it. Take a look. 2010_01_29
I will be attending this year's Game Developer's Conference here in San Francisco. I won't be doing the all-access pass this year but instead will be attending only the iPhone Games Summit on March 9th and 10th. 2010_01_24

My last gig at DotBlu involved working on the BluBet site, primarily using .Net/C# technologies. BluBet was a social betting site that allowed you to challenge your friends or the general public to bets that you created. It integrated with both Facebook and Twitter and you could also send and reply to bets with your cell phone over SMS. If browsed from a mobile phone, a separate mobile web version of the site loaded. However, this site has since shut down as of 10/09/09.2009_10_09
I'm now writing the weekly "This Week in iPhone News" column for Mobile Orchard. With it I hope to bring both popular and obscure yet important iPhone news to your attention.2009_04_10
